Marketplace Installation
The Flexivity AI app is published on the Zendesk Marketplace . Installing it adds the Flexivity AI widget to your Zendesk Agent Workspace and provisions the configuration screen that hosts the OAuth connect step.
Before You Begin
Confirm the following:
- You have a Zendesk admin role on the account where you are installing. Marketplace app installs and OAuth grants require admin permissions.
- Your Zendesk account meets the platform requirements — see Supported Platforms — Zendesk.
- Your Zendesk subdomain is the one you want to integrate (Flexivity binds the connection to the subdomain you install from).
Step 1: Find Flexivity AI in the Marketplace
- Sign in to your Zendesk account at
https://<your-subdomain>.zendesk.comas an admin. - Navigate to the Zendesk Marketplace by going to Admin Center → Apps and integrations → Zendesk Support apps → Marketplace, or visit https://www.zendesk.com/marketplace/ directly.
- Search for Flexivity AI.
- Click the Flexivity AI listing to open the app detail page.
Step 2: Install the App
- On the Flexivity AI listing page, click Install.
- Zendesk displays the app’s requested permissions and the locations where it will appear (the Agent Workspace ticket sidebar). Review the requested permissions.
- Click Install to confirm.
The app is now installed on your Zendesk account. You will land on the app settings page after install.
Step 3: Review App Settings
After install, the app settings page opens automatically. You can also reach it later via:
Admin Center → Apps and integrations → Zendesk Support apps → Currently Installed → Flexivity AI
The settings page exposes a small set of installation parameters for the app. In most cases the defaults are correct and you do not need to change anything:
- Flexivity AI base path — The URL the ZAF widget calls to reach the Flexivity AI cloud. Leave it at the default unless Flexivity AI support has explicitly directed you to override it (for example, for a dedicated regional endpoint).
Save the settings if Zendesk prompts you to confirm. There is no “Connect” button on this screen — the OAuth connect flow is initiated from the Flexivity admin console (see Next Steps below).
What Gets Installed
The marketplace install adds the following to your Zendesk account:
- The Flexivity AI app — A ZAF (Zendesk Apps Framework) app that renders the Flexivity widget in the Agent Workspace ticket sidebar.
- A configuration screen — The Admin Center settings page that exposes the app’s installation parameters (see Step 3 above).
The marketplace install does not by itself create webhooks, custom fields, or trigger automations. Those are provisioned during the OAuth connect step (see Connecting Zendesk).
Uninstalling
If you ever need to uninstall:
- Go to Admin Center → Apps and integrations → Zendesk Support apps → Currently Installed.
- Click the Flexivity AI app and select Uninstall.
Uninstalling the marketplace app removes the agent-facing widget and the configuration screen. To also clean up the webhook subscription, OAuth grant, and Flexivity-side connection, disconnect from the Flexivity admin console as well — see Troubleshooting — Uninstall and cleanup.
Troubleshooting Install
- The Flexivity AI app does not appear in marketplace search. Confirm you are searching the Zendesk Marketplace (not your installed apps list). If you still cannot find it, contact Flexivity support — your account may need to be added to a private listing while we expand availability.
- The Install button is grayed out. Your Zendesk user may not have admin permissions, or your Zendesk plan does not allow marketplace apps. Confirm your role and plan with your Zendesk account admin.
- Install succeeds but the configuration screen 500s or shows “App not configured”. Reload the Admin Center page; the configuration screen ships with the marketplace app and should appear immediately. If the issue persists, see Troubleshooting.
Next Steps
After install, continue to Connecting Zendesk to run the OAuth flow and finalize the connection.
